This error is typically related to the HDD or SSD you are on and not the game or app you are using. This error can and has happened with many different non-EA games.
Make sure that you first have enough disk space on the drive you are trying to install the game on. If you have multiple drives, move the app and game to one single drive.
In order to make sure everything else is good, try the following- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Default your game to the high-performance GPU, AMD Settings | Nvidia Settings | Windows Settings
- Install/Repair your VC++ files for the game (Microsoft VC++ Link)
- Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Reset Windows Host File
- Change UAC Controls within Windows
- @EA_Shepard This does nothing for me. I keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app because it keeps ignoring the path I chose and installing itself on the C drive. To be clear, I'm trying to install THE APP to a different drive, and THAT is not working.

@2aa05143235c1951 You can only change the path of the game install. the EA App will default to the normal install location.
- @EA_Shepard Thank you for looking. So basically what you're saying is that my C drive will be too full to update windows because I can't put the EA App on my NVME gaming drive. Good to know 🙂

This is useless! I have the exact same problem, I try to install the EA App in both my drives and it always marks an error or say I dont have enough disk space, bus I have more than 200 GB of free space, what´s going on, and please don´t answer with a copy-paste generic text.
