I'm actually starting to think the cause of this is a mixup on EA's end when it comes to linked accounts/EA PLAY membership.
It's the only logical thing I can think of that would cause the app to be confused about our ownership of games.
I've got a few games on other platforms that need to launch through EA, but this all happened when trying to play Battlefront 2 through Epic Games.
Do you have any games you can install? For me I can install and play Jedi Fallen order which seems to be the most recent game I got on there.

Sorry for the bombardment, I'm partially hoping someone from EA chimes in and also genuinely interested in what caused this... Either way, this is our home for the time being IG.

Well that sucks. I was excited cause I finally found a chat that lines up with my issues but nothing. I tried that origin thing but that won't work either. The licensing keeps messing up. Yay

@KoSMajora oh it hundred percent is an account issue at EA's end. I can install other games, just 2042 is blocked for me. I think we may need to get some press onto this as the issue appears pretty widespread and support isn't helping us to resolve the problem as it seems past their area of responsibilities

Convenient outage as usual.

I've contacted BigFry (youtuber) he covers gaming news and stuff alike. Not sure what that'll turn up though. I'm past caring about the 30 games I've lost, now I just want people to know this is happening. This is probably affecting people who don't know they're hit by it yet...

Here's to never buying a product published by EA ever again.
