I'm also having the same problem, I don't know what's causing it, I've tried allowing the app in the firewall, repairing the EA app, and repairing the Sims game, but nothing works, especially now, because I won't be able to get reward items.
I have the same problem. every time I want to open the sims 4, a notification appears "sign in to activate displayname missing from registry" and when I try to sign in, an error notification appears "we've noticed your computer is currently offline. to activate your game on this computer using ea account, you'll need to connect to internet". but my computer is connected to the internet. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the EA app, but nothing happen. Don't know what the problem is but i hope they fix it sooner
It's already been two weeks and there's no solution to the error yet. Just tried to open the game and the error is still there.
Same problem here since the Login Event Patch. Steam Version. It's annoying. I already completely wiped everything from EA off my PC and reinstalled it but it still pops up.
