Re: Unable to change game installation directory from EA desktop app

I have 3 partitions.

C: System Partition, where EA app is installed.
Y: Partition on my nVME ssd for Games that I play regularly
Z: Partition on my 12TB HDD for Games that I dont play that often.

Whatever partition+path I select, it automatically gets installed in C:, just because it is the install folder of EA App? This is madness! How come something that worked in the Origin App flawlessly, does not work in the successor app?

Shame on you, EA. Better watch out, before you get snacked from Microsoft as well ;D

I had exactly the same issue, but I noticed that it will install correctly when you initialize the game download directly from EA Desktop.
So, selecting an EA Game for download from the XBOX app will install it on the C: drive
Selecting the Game directly on the EA Desktop app will install it in the desired folder/drive.
Atleast that fixed it for me.
