Re: Why can't I launch my game without signing into the EA app?

Hi @CyberWiccan666 Origin or EA App is required to play games purchased directly from EA for the PC or Mac systems. Similar to Steam, Battle net, and Epic Game Store the client is used to manage your games, account as well as updates or changes to either.

If you have more questions about Origin or EA App I would recommend checking out the links below:

  • EA games, this is the dumbest response you could ever give. I'm experiencing the same problem, how can you put restrictions on a game that consumers payed full price for? And if you going to compare yourself to other mediocre companies like steam or epic then you really aren't as big a game company as you make yourself out to be. You didn't even give reason for why the system works like this you basically just said "it is what it is" in a nice way. You develop * broken games and still put restrictions on when consumers on play games they payed FULL PRICE for.

The latest EA App update has made my entire library unplayable...

  • @angelchrome Ridiculous. EA knows we think they're evil, corrupt and greedy. That's why they hide behind great talent and popular games to continue to be evil, corrupt and greedy without worrying about losing money. Disgusting.
  • @KingYou0119 I was expecting EA to give me this disjointed, mechanical answer that didn't help at all. These people don't care about gamers, just money from gamers.
  • Alright then, i will try to buy games from now on that have nothing to do with your platform since you blackmail us to play games that were once independent of that steam/EA app crap. If we selected to buy an offline game we did it with the expectation that it will continue to be able to played offline.
