Community ManagerRe: why can't the sim4 kit download after purchase?
Hey there @daisysolis
Are you getting any error messages when you try to install your kit? Is this kit showing as owned in the EA app?

- @EA_Solaire In the EA app is shows as in library. I’m not getting any error messages but when I click to download it says color-coding data files but it won’t download.

Would you be able to attach a screenshot to your post of what you're seeing in the app when you click the download button please?

Let's try the following steps, let me know how this works for you:
- Open task manager, locate EA Background Service, and end task
- Clear the cache for the EA app
- Run the EA app as an administrator
- Check for any background applications blocking the EA App
- Try lowering your User Access Control Settings:
- Close the EA app
- Click the Windows button and type "UAC" in the search field
- In the User Access Control window, click and hold the slide bar —slide it to the lowest setting available
- Click Okay the bottom of the window
- Open the EA app client and try starting the download again
