CANT UNINSTALL A GAME

can anyone tell me why i cant unistall a game from the EA app? i go on manage unistall when i click the unistall option it says uninstalling for 2 seconds then says play, some of the game files are corrupted which is the reason for unistalling, tried to unistall via the app settings on my actual computer to get the same result.
