I'm not sure if your problem is related in anyway but Battlefield 3 has had the same problem saying it's license is missing and the fix for it is to go into the EA License folder and delete anything ending in .dlf (these I know for a fact are for Battlefield games and deleting all of them causes no damage to any other games owned) making sure to empty the Recycle Bin after. Restart the game and it will have it's license key renewed then function again.
Again no idea if this helps for your game but it's a well known problem that is always resolved by the above mentioned method. Worth looking into hope it helps.
