The Sims 2 not launching

I just bought the sims 2 from the EA app and it will not launch, at first it was sending me error codes, now it says that some of my files are corrupted and to repair the game. I have repaired it many times and the game still will not launch. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game many times. I also updated my drivers and made sure my graphics were up to date. Does anyone know how to get the game to launch?
