BUG FC25 PS5 - Player speed

Hello,

I just started a career as manager and I used simulation to start a game but when I want to jump in and actually play with my team, the speed of my players is off. It feels like I’m sprinting  while holding R1. The players sprint normally when I don’t have possession but when I get the ball, they suddenly get really slow. Even double tapping R2 to push the ball and boost the speed doesn’t work.
