Slow responsiveness and delayed alters

I believe this app can be great but it falls short when it comes on to responsiveness as it relates to how fast messages and conversations load from previous convos and newly formed conversation, also the notification takes a long time to notify me as the user that I got a message and even going on the app after the notification I am still delayed in seeing the message I received I have to close and reopen the app sometimes or I just let it sit . I have no images to show but please fix and address it please
