About EA Forums categories organization

Hello everyone! This, more than feedback, is some "tics" I have in some aspects:

  • Swap the Community Hub with the EA Community Discussion and delete it, as EA Community Discussion is inside the hub (this would highlight things inside the hub like guidelines/rules and info even more.) (I saw it has been made, thank you) ✅
  • Shouldn't this be "More EA Products" instead of only Games? Since it includes Origin for Mac section or, put the Origin for Mac out of it (has been issued as well) ✅
  • michibikii  We had some back and forth on the placement of the Community Hub and some of the destinations within. In the future, we may even feature it in some other way.
For now, we agreed with your feedback though, and rearranged things, thank you!

On your second point, as you can probably tell we are struggling to represent all the games in the out of the box navigation, so we ended up moving some of them into the "MORE EA Games" container. In the past we had two separate containers for these types of things

    • services (e.g. for EA app, Origin for Mac, EA Play)
    • games

As we are struggling for nav space however, and the EA app in particular has a very active community we decided to not separate these for now.
While product is technically correct, we are hoping games will fit better, as Origin for Mac is being shutdown on April 17th, 2025.

    Hello Nils, I see now!
I didn't have in the equation that Origin for Mac was going to be shutdown, sorry!

I think having Community Hub at the top is a good idea. EA Community Discussion and Questions and Feedback on EA Forums' Functionality seem pretty similar.

Perhaps merge them both into something called EA Forum Questions and Feedback. It seems like EA Community Discussions would mostly center around forum questions and feedback.

It could also be a place to ask forum moderators for help.
