Since sometime last evening something is going on with my notifications. I will see that I have a notification and click on the bell, and then a blank page will open that says I have no notifications. retrying repeatedly has worked once, but for the most part I just have to go away and hope they will show when I return. And when I do I'll see again that I have notifications and get sent to a page that says I have no notifications. The only thing I have done was to update my time zone and the way posts in topics show to me in settings yesterday. Since it is evening time again and the issue still persists I thought it time to post about it. oh and I use Chrome for my forum visits. It is fully updated. I have completely cleaned out caches, cookies, history and basically everything that can be cleaned and restarted the browser and the issue still persists.
I am also going to add that notifications in general are terrible on a good day. I will go in and see the list of topics that something new has happened in. So I will click one to check it out and then when I go back, everything is marked as read and it is hard to figure out where I left off. I have almost missed a response from your support team in regards to an issue response they gave and that is not cool. It would be really nice if you forum fixers could revamp this to work like email notifications and stuff isn't marked as read until you go in to it. it would also be nice to be able to mark something as unread so that I could go back to it at a later time if I don't have the time I would like for a response right then. 🖖
