Invalid HTML error when publishing new stories. Please help.
I am trying to post a story with images on one of my threads, but keep getting an error message come up saying: 'This content is not published. Invalid HTML. Please remove this before posting. Lib- sim.' (no idea what the last bit means). The story is pasted in plain text from a Word doc and have tried uploading each image via the option in the bottom bar (From Computer) instead of copying and pasting but it still won't let me publish the story. There is no HTML content used in the story, it's all from my computer, so am not sure why I keep getting a message about invalid HTML content. I am wondering if it's the length that's causing issues, as when I do shorter posts with one or two images, it works perfectly fine. I notice there doesn't seem to be a spoiler option on the bar for new posts/replies after the main introductory post so I can't get the long post into a spoiler. Has anyone else had the same issue when trying to post stories (can't find related topics in Search)? And if so, have you managed to solve it?Forum notification are broken
The forum notifications are broken and don't work. Sometimes I receive notifications when someone replies to a post I'm subscribed to, and sometimes I don't receive a notification. I'm referring to the notification bell at the top of the forum page. Sometimes I get notifications there, sometimes I don't. For example, I'm subscribed to the forum post in the link below, but I did not receive a notification when the poster replied to me. Dropping to 1 fps | EA Forums - 12970860 This makes it extremely difficult to provide customer support because we're not receiving notifications when people reply to posts asking for help. There's other features of the forum that are broken. Such as 'show more' and 'unread posts' features. I do like the look, layout, and custom avatars. A forum that doesn't keep track of conversations is fundamentally broken though. I've resorted to manually adding this signature to the bottom of all my posts. Otherwise I'll have no idea who replies to me in posts I'm subscribed to. If I don't reply to your post then personal message me. Sometimes the forum fails to notify me when someone replies.[Known issue] Error viewing and downloading attachments
Hi folks, There is currently an issue preventing users from viewing and downloading attachments at the moment. You may experience an "HTTP Status 404" or a blank image. Don't worry, the Forums teams are aware of this issue. Thank you for your patience! No option to change avatar for forums
Hi, I've seen posts saying to use EA Help to be able to change the avatar but there is nothing in the help section about changing avatars for forums. I followed the directions given in google but all I see is a gray smiley face and nothing can be clicked or edited. Was adding or editing avatars completely disabled?EA entire website SLOW on Firefox browser
Please kindly fix this issue. Happens only on this browser, tested without any extensions, still occurs. Most parts and sections loads painfully slow and takes the clicking ability away. Not going to switch my browser because it is occurs only on EA main and sub websites. Can barely post anything or read on new ea forums. I think that pesky emoji addon integrated onto forums is the reason, who knows. Latest build of everything on my computer including GPU drivers clean install and Windows 10 22h2. Installed via DDU clean install including AMD chipset drivers everything. It is occurs only on EA site anyways. Older forums and Origin was working just fine. Don't change things that is not needed to change in the first place honestly. It took EA to fix major issues with EA app MONTHS. God knows when they fix this too. Another day, another problem with EA.SolvedThe forum is maxing out everyone's CPU
For some reason the forums are maxing out the CPU on my Google Pixel 7 smartphone and Windows 11 Intel i7-8700K desktop. In Windows Task Manager one of the CPU cores is maxed out at 100% usage while browsing the forums. All the forum pages are slow and laggy due to the maxed out CPU. It seems like there's a JavaScript bug causing everyone's CPU to max out. This is happening with the latest version of Google Chrome Web Browser on Windows 11 and Android 16.Solved
