Custom Avatar
Is there some way to get your custom avatar on the forum ? 🙃

But why do I have an avatar? I never chose this one and never had one on the old forums...
You were assigned a random avatar when you got here. You can edit it under your Account menu>Settings (top right).
I was assigned a lovely yellow thing, which I intended to keep, but they have now either removed those plain color (diamond?) avatars, or they go away once you climb community levels. I would expect a larger number of alternatives to serve some hundred thousand users... there must be thousands of user with the exact same avatar.
The plain color avatars were defaults, supplied by the forum host according to a post I saw elsewhere. A couple days ago, EA added some Apex-related avatars that replaced the defaults.
Ah. Thank you. Yes, I've changed it into a plumbob. Much better. I don't mind not being able to have an avatar because I never had one anyway on the original forums but I do prefer an avatar that is recognised for being from the Sims franchise. Especially as we can now chat in other forums for other games.
