EA TRAINING POINTS
I have traded in Braxton miller and ohrstrom now for training points. The ladder being worth 43,750 training points. Neither time have I received any training points and customer support has told me they should be there and to reach out again if I don’t get them. I am missing 80,000 training points please tell me whySuggestion - Profile Pictures/Avatars from Older EA Games
I would like to suggest incorporating profile pictures or avatars from older EA games into the EA Forums platform once it fully launches. This small addition could significantly enhance the overall experience, particularly for longtime fans of EA games. For example, Answers HQ has a diverse selection of avatars but primarily focuses on newer titles. As a member of the Battlefield community, I believe it would be fantastic to have avatars from older games like Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 3 available (this can be said for older NFS tittles as well). While I understand that this may not be a current priority, I feel that this minor enhancement could provide a valuable touch of nostalgia and comfort for many users. I believe it could be implemented easily and would be widely appreciated. I would truly like to hear what others think about the suggestion.Suggestion - Answer HQ Veterans
Hello everyone, I recently joined this new platform "EA Forums" after being an active member of Answers HQ for the past ten years. I’d like to suggest a few positive enhancements for the dedicated veterans of EA and Answers HQ. I strongly believe that Answers HQ veterans who transition to the new platform should have their "stats" transferred, specifically their badges and experience points (XP). Many members have dedicated over a decade to contributing to the community, and it would be a meaningful gesture to acknowledge their efforts by transferring their XP and badges to the new platform. Additionally, I propose creating a special badge for veterans of Answers HQ to recognize their long-standing commitment. This would be a small token of appreciation that would resonate with every single one of us. I truly hope that this suggestion is taken into consideration by the hardworking team at EA.Thank you in advance! EA_Nils Best regards - danisoffSolvedNew Here! Looking for Tips on Making the Most of EA Forums
Hi everyone, I’m new to the EA community and wanted to introduce myself! I’ve always been a big fan of games like The Sims and FIFA, and I’m looking forward to being part of this community. I’ve heard a lot about how helpful everyone is here, so I thought it’d be a great place to join in, learn, and hopefully contribute too. Since I’m still figuring things out, I wanted to ask—are there any specific tips for getting the most out of the forums? Are there threads or sections that are especially active or helpful for newcomers? I’d also love to know how to get involved in community discussions or events. Thanks in advance for any guidance, and I’m excited to get started!Feedback on the Bug Forum needed
- Main Bug Collecting is still done at AHQ - Hi everyone, I've spend the last couple days cleaning up the bug forum and now I'm interested to hear what you think of it. I don't want to go into details on how I think it should work. I want to hear how it feels to someone who newly ventures into the bug forum or tries to report something. Cade did make a post here: General Information About The Bug Reports Forum | EA Forums - 4965007 to give some general info and of course it has all the downsides this forum generally has but I'm interested in the special features the bug forum here work out for you. The main differences currently are: There's no template, tags are used instead A bug has a status by which you can filter. There's upvotes instead of me toos (upvotes are not likes, they work like the me toos to show how wide-spread the issues are) What do you think of the bug forum here ? What do you feel is missing ? What is unclear ? I'm specifically interested in these question: How does the flow of the bug forum feel to you ? Do you understand what status a bug is currently in and what they generally mean? If you reported something and it was closed down, do you know why it was closed down and what to do next to get help/see that your issue is reported properly ? How does the sorting in this particular forum feel to you ? Do you understand which tags to put for your particular issue ? Do you easily re-find your post know when you've gotten an answer ?The new EA Sims Forum
I am a member of the soon to be Sims Forum. I have also raised my concern in the Forum and will repeat it here. Perhaps this debate has already started somewhere else, but forgive me for not seeing where. That is exactly the problem. I think everything new requires getting used to and I will probably spend some time getting to know the new EA Forum. However, there is one thing that immediately catches my eye and surprises me. How is it that almost everything is sorted by 'The most' such as Most Recent, Most Viewed, Most Replies, Most Likes. It is of course very nice for those who already have a lot of followers and likes, but for someone else it seems like a killer. On a forum like X, you're practically invisible and dead if you don't have a whole bunch of followers. I'm afraid the same thing is going to happen here. As I said, it may be because I can't find my way around yet, but I need to voice my concern out loud and hopefully become wiser. The best thing about the old Sims Forum is that it didn't try to look like a social media like any other social media where it's about scoring the highest rank and number of followers to get benefits. This applies in particular to the right to costume a personal avatar. I really hope the idea of earning enough rank to get a personal avatar is rethought. The existing Forum has been a sanctuary where you have been able to cultivate the special interest you have in the game with other Simmers regardless of their rank and general popularity. The entire structure of the forum has made it easy to navigate. I don't know how to navigate the EA Forum when it focuses on highlighting the most popular lore at the moment. This cultivation of elitism leaves me with a feeling of loneliness. For me it's a killer because I don't want to be in a Forum where I have to be confirmed daily that I'm invisible and therefore unimportant.Progress?
I feel at this point that we've made out views pretty clear. The new forums have a number of serious issues - no avatars, no page numbers, no subforums, bad sorting, unstable logins, getting rerouted, long load times, etc. At this point, new feedback is just repeating the old. What I think we all want now is to hear from folks running this show. So, I'll ask the impertinent question... because it's what I do. What progress is being made to address the issues?
