Is there some way to get your custom avatar on the forum ? 🙃

Only heroes get custom avatars. Heroes are the ones who help others in their posts.

Yall have to realize how weird this decision looks no?
Would be nice to stop treating the forums as some kind of weird popularity contest because the old ones didn't feel that way at all. We just want our avatars, display names that can differ from our user names, posts ordered chronologically, a forum you don't have to log in to everytime you reopen the page, and an interface that doesn't feel so sluggish.
It's kinda sad how we went from forums everyone liked, had no issues with, and offered pretty much all of those things for the past decade to... whatever this is.
I tried to press like on this post, but guess what? I had to log in, again :P Pretty sure I've logged in 7 times today and I've only used the forum a very short time today
I have to sign back in almost every time I visit. This new forum is a hot mess to the point I'll probably give up on it before long.
and it doesn't have that button at the bottom of the page to take you right back to the top without scrolling all the way up. And we only get to see a few threads unless we keep clicking and scrolling down all the time. And there's not enough sections - me no like smelly stinky tabs, I want a pack section and all the other sections back. In fact, I want the old forum back!!!
These forums feel like a HUGE downgrade compared to what we had, I'm actually kind of shocked by it.
Some heros have went back to these default avatars.
Is this actually EA policy? You get a custom avatar only if "you're a hero and help people with their posts"? Are we EA employees? Am I getting paid? Because last i checked, I play sims after I leave the job that gives me a paycheck.
Literally every other forum allows you to have an avatar so that it's easier to identify between posters. And you don't have to jump through hoops to "get to a level where you're allowed to have one". I'm a paying customer. That should be enough.
