Custom Avatar

Yeah hard same, and everything loads so slowly, not matter what device I use it on, just clicking reply and waiting for the little reply component to load is such a slog to get through. The notifications are kind of a mess too since they open a new window instead of just a small menu at the top. Literally every interaction feels slow and unintuitive, it's amazing

and it doesn't have that button at the bottom of the page to take you right back to the top without scrolling all the way up. And we only get to see a few threads unless we keep clicking and scrolling down all the time. And there's not enough sections - me no like smelly stinky tabs, I want a pack section and all the other sections back. In fact, I want the old forum back!!!

It make non sense at all. 

I don't mind at all.  I guess a little seasoning goes a long way.  Pass the salt and pepper please.😄

These forums feel like a HUGE downgrade compared to what we had, I'm actually kind of shocked by it.

Yeah, it's a real let-down knowing that not only do we not have the ability to choose our own avatars, but that there's so few of them to choose from.  I can see it getting very confusing very quickly.

I actually liked the entire layout of the old forums better than here.  They felt easier to read and easier to navigate.

I too, really miss our old custom avatars.  Hopefully they will add an option for it sometime soon.  I might look at the idea of putting my avatar pic in the body of my messages, but it's definitely a less-than-optimal solution.

Is this actually EA policy? You get a custom avatar only if "you're a hero and help people with their posts"? Are we EA employees? Am I getting paid? Because last i checked, I play sims after I leave the job that gives me a paycheck. 

Literally every other forum allows you to have an avatar so that it's easier to identify between posters. And you don't have to jump through hoops to "get to a level where you're allowed to have one". I'm a paying customer. That should be enough.

Green plumbob reminds me of old forums so I'm keeping that until everyone can change to custom profile picture no fun being only one showing your face in masquerade

really hope they make profile pictures bigger, square and less pixelated too
