EA App won't send password reset code

I haven't played an EA game since Origin, and I mostly play EA games on Steam using Proton (I'm on Linux Mint), and I've been trying to launch SW Battlefront 2, but can't log in to EA due to my account being deactivated. I keep trying to reset my password, but every time I request a reset code, I never receive the email. I've tried several times, I've checked spam and every other folder in my email, and nothing. I think the  I made a new EA account (since that's the only way to post here) but my old one is still linked to my Steam account. Is there any way I can receive access to my old account to unlink Steam?
