I deleted my 2FA on my old phone and I'm trying to include it on my new phone, but I need to verify my ID first, so it says it will send me a code to my email. Only problem is, it never does. It doesn't send anything to my email, so I thinking it may have to do with the 2FA I recently turned off. I'm not able to change anything on my account because I need to verify my account but I cannot because it never sends the code to do it! So how do you contact someone from EA with phone or email? A few days ago I tried to login into my old account to unlink steam. The problem is ea doesn't send me 2fa verification code. I contacted support and they sent me this link and said to reach live chat support (Screenshot 1) There is no option to contact live chat there. After that they just closed my case. So I opened a new one where I spesifically stated that I need to contact with live chat support. After waiting for another 2 days thay send me this (Screenshot 2) Link is different now but it literally goes to the same page. The case status is now "whaiting on player". Like what do you want from me? THERE IS NO OPTION to contact live chat. I wrote it in my case. What exactly does your support team not understand? At this point I am not even sure that these cases are beign reviewed by real people. And the fact that I have to wait 2 days for each of these responses... I have all required information to login into my account. This problem isn't coming from my side. Can you provide me an actual support on this matter?Solved110KViews8likes63CommentsEA Account deactivated due to Inactivity
Hello everyone, I am posting from a different EA account because I am trying to recover an older EA account that I can no longer access. Today I spent about four hours speaking with four different EA support agents, but the issue is still unresolved and the last chat ended without a solution. They all repeat the same things back to me and do not help me at all. These are the facts: The account was not intentionally deleted/deactivated by me. Some support chats indicated that it was likely deactivated due to long-term inactivity. The Battlelog profile and the EA account still appear to exist: the profile is still publicly accessible and the account still shows up on a friend’s friends list, which suggests it is still present in EA’s system. I still have the original CD keys for the games and proof of purchase which I found on a email adress, but that is not the email address used in the EA account. Support confirmed these keys are used in the EA account that I am trying to recover. I know the EA ID of the account on which the games were activated. The account must be more or less 15 years old. I was barely a teenager when it was created, so providing perfectly accurate details about the original email address, payment methods, IP addresses, or other account information from that time is realistically impossible. An agent asked me these and told me they can not help even though I tried my best to give him everything, he neither denied or confirmed anything, just disconnected themlseves from the chat! How rude... The main problem is that the password reset page only says that my credentials have expired and asks me to enter the email address associated with the account. Unfortunately, I no longer remember the exact email address. The suggested recovery steps then lead into a loop, because several of them require me to already be logged into the account in order to see the registered email address, which I obviously cannot do. On top of that, I no longer have access to the credit cards used for the original purchases, my IP addresses have changed multiple times over the years because I changed internet providers, and although I still have two old laptops that I used to play these games on, Origin / the EA app is no longer installed on them. So at this point I have no practical way to complete the standard verification process, even though I can provide the EA ID, the original CD keys, and proof of purchase, and literally my Passport that has the name on the receipts. What I find especially frustrating is that even with the original purchase information, there seems to be no way to update the email address, receive even a partial hint for it like email***@gmail.com, or verify ownership through any other reasonable method. I am hoping there is still a way to verify ownership and reactivate the account, or to escalate this to a team that can review inactive accounts, especially since the Battlelog profile and account presence still seem to indicate that the account exists. If any EA staff or community managers are able to look into this, I would really appreciate it. I am happy to provide additional information privately if needed. Thank you for your time.61Views0likes2CommentsCan't access EA account and this company is not helpful
Hello, I recently tried to sign into my EA account after about a year of not playing The Sims, but no longer have access to the email I used to create the account. I have the username and password but I can't complete the two-factor authentication. I tried to reach out to support but they couldn't get me into my account, and said that I should try again because I got most of the questions right but one of them was wrong. Now for some reason it's not letting me talk to a live representative at all??! Like every time I go to support it just reroutes me to the login page to get me to sign into account that I literally don't have access to!! This is honestly so annoying and I've been going in circles for the past like 45 minutes, even reading other threads on here and doing what they say about creating a new support ticket and trying to select make changes to your account or whatever.. none of it is working and I can't get into my account and this is so so frustrating cuz I've literally spent hundreds of dollars on this game!! Sorry for the rant, honestly, this is just so incredibly frustrating and I can't believe how unhelpful EA is being about this. I had to create another account just to be able to write this post to hopefully get help so if anyone could assist I would really really appreciate it!!46Views0likes1CommentFormal Appeal: Account Compromised by Hacker & Technical Barrier to Support
Dear TOS Team, I am writing to you with a heavy heart to seek a final, fair review of my account . My account was unfortunately compromised by a hacker, and any violations that occurred were not my doing. Since then, I have been attempting to recover my account with a sincere and cooperative attitude. However, instead of help, I have encountered a "dead loop" within your system and dismissive treatment from the support staff. The Technical Barrier (System Bug): The webform strictly requires me to select a record from my "Ban History" to proceed. However, my history does not display the relevant case, making it impossible for me to submit a formal appeal. I have tried repeatedly, only to be blocked by this technical glitch. Failure of Front-line Support: When I sought help for this bug, the support agent provided cold, scripted responses (see attached screenshots). I was told "no one can help you" and "only you can submit," completely ignoring the fact that your own system is preventing me from doing so. This dismissive attitude has been deeply hurtful and feels like a denial of my right to a fair appeal. My Sincere Request: I have always valued this community and followed the rules. This account is important to me, and I am a victim of a security breach. I kindly request: A manual review of my account's login activity to verify the unauthorized access. An alternative channel to submit my evidence, bypassing the broken webform. A fair chance to restore my account standing. I trust the TOS team will see the injustice in this situation and help me remove this "thorn" that has been deeply troubling me. I am ready to provide any proof of identity and account ownership needed. Thank you for your time and for upholding the fairness of the platform. Sincerely, Dany67Views0likes3Comments
