I want to change my EA ID

So I want to change my ID so it's not a bunch of random character. I'd like to change it to DeRocker95 but I keep getting the error that says I have prohibited characters or words. Is this a bug? Thanks!

    It may be because your current ID is DeRocker2195 and it is simply too close.

    You should try changing your ID DeRocker2195 to something else totally just to check it the "system" is working. After that, change it to the preferred ID. As far as I'm aware there is no limit on how many times you can change your ID.
