Migrated Sims 3 thread not publishing edits...

Hello. I have a few issues regarding my Sims 3 Showcase thread that was migrated over from the old forums, and is currently located in the franchise discussion section.

  1. I have tried editing my thread multiple times, however, the changes do not display after publishing. When I go back into edit mode, I do see the edits that I made, but just can't get the edits to show up.
  2. Is it perhaps blocked from publishing due to the fact of where the thread is located?
  3. Can my thread be moved out of the Franchise Discussion Section and into the Sims 3 category?
  4. I *AM* able to edit this post, that's not located in the Sims 3 Franchise Section, so it does seem like it's related to my thread's location that's prohibiting the edits.

Note: Someone was able to comment on my thread 3 days ago, so at least that's working. 🙂

In the meantime, I've tried getting rid of old links that went to the old forum pages that were mostly found in my first two posts, as I've heard that could be the reason that it's being blocked from publishing. But I have not gone through the entire thread, since it's quite a large thread and rather daunting.

    Editing is somewhat broken.  You can try changing one thing at a time, but that might not help now that the site has saved a draft that won't submit.  What might help is if someone else edits it—that could flush your draft and allow you to try again.

    If you want me to try, let me know.  I can just put a line break somewhere rather than changing anything.

    Moving threads is seriously busted at the moment.  I tried to move yours just now and got an error, which is typical.  Threads will get moved as soon as possible (I've been trying every day), but for now, there's no workaround.

      Thank you for responding puzzlezaddict . That's so disappointing to hear that it's a bit broken. I've already tried changing one thing at a time and I've also canceled my previous autosave edits to start fresh.

       I will sit tight for awhile then. If you have access to edit my thread, then yes, please do so. I would appreciate that. 🙂

        I added a couple of line breaks, submitted, and removed the line breaks and submitted again.  Let me know whether that fixes editing for you.  It's probably best to attempt one change at a time so as not to give this site any excuse to reject the edits.

        And if that doesn't work either, and there's something simple you want me to change (like a title), I can try that too.  I wouldn't want to mess with the content of your post, but it's easy enough to make small edits.
