I've just stumbled onto the new The Sims forums via the old forums. I use a Mac and the safari browser. The new forum briefly flashes in the browser window and then ends up with a blank white pages that just says "Application error: a clieant-side exception has occured" in the grey bar of the safari window.
I'm writing this post on Chrome on my Mac. Safari is my default and preferred browser. I really hope these forums will support that as well.
That's weird. I'm typing this reply using Safari on my Mac, and I haven't noticed any problems. Which OS do you have? I'm on Sonoma 14.4.1 and haven't yet updated to 14.5.
Ok, Mine is really old. MacOS 10.13.6 and Safari 13.1.2. It must be because of that. Unfortunately my imac that I use for web browsing wont allow me to update to newer versions.
That's a real shame if it's the OS that's stopping it working for you 🙁
EA_Nils Only just noticed your request. Still getting used to these new forums. Here is a screenshot from safari. I also open the web console as the screenshot itself really doesn't show anything. Hope this helps. Unfortunately I don't have the option to upgrade to a new versions since my Imac is so old that this is the latest MacOS and Safari that it will run.
Glad to know I’m not the only one ! I have the same issue, the threads page stays blank.
