No option to change avatar for forums

Hi, I've seen posts saying to use EA Help to be able to change the avatar but there is nothing in the help section about changing avatars for forums. 

I followed the directions given in google but all I see is a gray smiley face and nothing can be clicked or edited.

Was adding or editing avatars completely disabled?

    Hi suceress,

    You shouldn't need to contact EA Help to change your avatar, as you should be able to do it yourself from your EA account. It's just not possible to do through these forums directly at the moment. 

    If you sign in at EA.com, and select the "Account Settings" option, you should be able to change the avatar by selecting the pencil icon just beneath the current one, and either upload a new one or choose from the gallery.

    Ahh. Thank you very much. That worked for me. Going to the EA Help thingy didn't help at all as it didn't have that info. I edited my EA avatar. Will have to see if it takes effect for the forums now.

    Editing, it doesn't seem to have updated for the forum just yet. I guess the forum avatar can't be changed or it just glitched on me somehow.

    2nd edit: I had to log out and back in for it to work.
