I am updating the Sims 3 Store Daily Deals thread and my posts are disappearing after I make them. EA Guru Cade (I think) tried to restore one yesterday, but after I edited it, it disappeared again! I update these daily and they had been working after a few days of the new forum going live, but now they are not staying posted again. Is there a way to get the spam filter to not delete my posts in this thread? Please help!!
The spam filter appears to not like lots of links, and copy/paste, and anything that happens after it's already flagged a post from a given account. This site is also logging people out at random intervals, which would block your post from submitting even if you appeared to be signed in within that browser tab.
I don't think there's any way to exempt a given thread from the spam filter. But at the very least, posting here gives the EA people investigating the issue more information.
The same happened to me in the Creative Corner section. The second post of "Wanted Man" disappeared, with no warning. I notitification "Your content has been deleted because of [reason]." would be helpful in the future. I don't know if it was something in the dialogue (my sim fought a vampire and it was implied that the vampire had drained another sim offscreen) or if simply copy/pasting was the issue.
Edit: Trying to recreate the post just now, the original re-appeared after a long loading time. So maybe not a ban, but a technical issue (auto log out)? Fingers crossed it'll stay visible now.
