I realize that this thread was necro'd because of a spam poster, and if you want me to make a fresh thread, I can (or I can find another more recent one).
I have to say that most things in this forum are an improvement over the previous community boards (they are at least, normally, a bit snappier). But the sorting of threads/posts still leaves much to be desired. The lack of pages and the necessity to click 'show more' in order to see more than 10 or so posts is super frustrating. What the OP outlined regarding the sorting (newest to oldest, etc) still makes it frustrating to get caught up through previous posts, and oldest to newest makes it almost impossible to see the latest in threads that have hundreds of replies.
I realize that this is probably a design/feature of the forum software and may not be something that can ever change, but it would certainly be nice to be able to go to page 42 in a 50-page thread and catch up from there instead of cycling backwards in time with random threaded responses tied in.

Community AdminAnobix Totally with you, we would love to see "pagination" too.
Unfortunately it hasn't been added yet by the community platform service provider, despite our feedback.
Same with "show more". It's still limited to 10 or 20 (based on page type), and we have frequently suggested to at least raise this limit to 100 or 50.
Thank you for taking the time to respond, hopefully the devs for the community platform can implement the change, which I think would benefit the vast majority of folks here (many of whom wouldn't think to come to this area of the forum to vent about it).
