I don't know if I am doing anything wrong (I am on a pc) but I was just reading a discussion with a lot of responses, and instead of taking me to page 2, 3 or whatever, it just asked me to 'show more...

I don't think it is supposed to work that way. When you push the show more button, it's supposed to refresh and take you to the next page of posts. It then should also have a show more button at the top of the posts in case you want to go back.
It does work that way sometimes, but more often the page just goes white and takes me back to what I just read like you described. Also sometimes when I click on a topic from my PC, the link takes me somewhere else instead. This is especially true when I click on the time link.
