A random EA account is connected to my steam account

A while back I tried to play battlefront 2 and whenever I tried to log in via steam it would send a verification code to an email that wasn't mine so then I tried to login to my EA account instead of logging in through my steam account and whenever I tried to launch battlefront 2 I was prompted with a message saying that this EA account was not linked to this steam account. I contacted EA support close to a month ago and haven't heard anything regarding fixing this issue and steam support told me I have to fix it through EA. currently I have no way of playing any of my EA games and don't know if their is anything else I can try to do to fix this problem.
