Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb

I bought this game during the current sale yesterday.  While the game seems to load, I get the menu screen in the upper left corner and an empty window in the lower right, both on a black background.  I am not able to use my mouse or keyboard to select anything.  I've tried changing the compatibility mode to Windows 7 (I'm using Windows 11).  I also put it in administrator mode, but nothing works.  I've seen that other people are having similar problems with other games in the series.  They also seem to have bought them during this current sale.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
