I downloaded Crysis through the Xbox app but no matter where i try to launch it, it wont work. Every time i launch the game it just goes to a black screen and then opens EA. If i open it through the EA app it only black screens. The game does not need to install in EA or anything and I don't even get a crash report of anything.
Same thing happened to me. DELL G15 5515 windows 11. Acquired Crysis through gamepass and the xbox app.
Tried running in compatibility mode with Vista and 8. No luck. Also tried running as admin with each and still no luck.
Kinda late and perhaps the fix only works for me, but run the 64bit version directly from the game folder. Directory Crysis\Bin64\Crysis.exe
There's also a Crysis64.exe, but I run the former mentioned as administrator and works fine like that. Also, check the Remastered Trilogy on EA App. It didn't add to my library by default, but mentioned that it was available to redeem due to my EA Play subscription.
For me, I'm playing the 2007 game, having played the Xbox 360 port because I wanted to play with controller, and then finished 2 and 3. The Xbox 360 port and Remastered Crysis lack some content, like a mission some people said was unnecessary, in case the information serves you any purpose.
They haven't come up with a fix for this? E.A. is **bleep**.
Hi guys. I just installed game trough Xbox game pass (it goes trough ea app) but it wont start (few second of black screen and just goes to desktop). I tried this method with 64bit version and it doesn't work(run as admin also did nothing). Tried also similar methods which I found on YT (deleting 32 bit folder) and it doesn't work. Reinstalled few times, still doesn't work. any solutions?
