BF6 early Beta access/Steam purchase

Hello gamers and devs, 

Wanted to get some clear confirmation on the BF6 beta early release. I received the code via watching BF6 twitch stream and successfully applied it on my EA account. However, I bought the BF6 $99 preorder on steam. Will I be able to still play the early access beta via steam or will I have to buy the game through EA since that’s where the code was applied too? I saw somewhere where if your steam is linked then it should work. Can any devs / managers / gamers confirm or explain?

    I'm not sure if this helps, but if you have access you should be able to download it today for the early access. Search battlefield 6 in steam and there should be a button that shows up to get access. Once you click on it, there should be a message that pops up, and says access granted. It will show up in your game library, and then just install it.

    You probably mean that statement : Update on Early Access keys | EA Forums - 12403914

    -> "To confirm, upon redemption of the Early Access key, you will be required to download the Beta Client on the platform of your choice when it becomes available early next week. ... .The Early Access key is an entitlement that will work on any platform linked to your EA account; you choose where to play!"
