Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. Would you be able to take a screenshot instead of taking a picture of your screen? Also, is this happening in FC 26? If so, when is it occurring?

What is happening when you try to take a screenshot? That should be really easy to do.

  •

it's a DirectX 12 Out of Memory (OOM) error occurring during a Frostbite engine game (likely Battlefield or Madden)

The error happens because the game requested a specific amount of Video RAM (VRAM) to load textures or models, but your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 couldn't provide it.

    Primary Causes

    • VRAM Limitation: The GTX 1050 typically comes with 2GB or 3GB of VRAM. Modern games, especially on DirectX 12, often require 4GB to 6GB even at minimum settings.
    • Virtual Memory (Page File) Issues: If Windows' "Page File" is disabled or set too small on your hard drive, DirectX can't swap data out of the VRAM properly, leading to an immediate crash.
    • Driver Conflicts: Your driver version is listed as 582.28 (which suggests a very recent or potentially beta/preview build for 2026). If the driver is unstable, it may leak memory or fail to report available memory correctly.
    • Background Apps: Apps like Chrome, Discord (with hardware acceleration), or Spotify can "steal" small amounts of VRAM, pushing a 2GB card over its limit.

Hope it helps. Google possible fixes. There are a ton of ways. I would use ddu and roll back to a working driver. Adjust the windows page file, etc.
