EA account Link to xbox

So my son’s EA account has been unlinked and EA has disabled his account. It was always linked through the Xbox login on the site and now I can’t link his account in order for him to play any EA games that I have purchased for him in the last. Has anyone seen this problem and how did you get it fixed.

    Hey RichardCranium83​,

    It looks like the account is still linked to the disabled account. You can restore it by resetting the password via the original email address (If you've made a new account with that address, you may need to change it at least temporarily), but if that either isn't working or if you can't remember what the email address is you'll need to reach out to our live support team. They'll be able to take a look at this for you,

    So here’s the problem. This account is the original email used for that user name. When I logged in it told me I didn’t have an account. I’ve already sent a ticket to ea about it. I don’t understand why they would disable the account. Maybe they did that when my son changed the Xbox gamer tag to something different compared to the original name for the email address.
