Inquiry regarding Pet Society Islands

Good day, I'm writing because I have some concerns about the mobile game "Pet Society Island." I know the original Pet Society was owned by EA and has been discontinued for over a decade. I recently discovered this new mobile version (available on iOS and Android) about three or four months ago, and I'm questioning its legality.
Specifically, I'm concerned about the following:

The game uses the "Pet Society" name.

Uses the character asset "Mayor" (video below)

It uses the original Pet Society music. (video below)

Furthermore, the game lacks an "About Us" or "FAQ" section, making it difficult to determine whether it's official or unofficial. The only way to discern its unofficial status is through comments on Facebook or within the discord. This lack of transparency makes me believe the developers are misleading the community, as most of the players mistakenly believe it's an official game. Could this be considered copyright infringement or a form of swindling?
