Dear Anthem...
A letter from a simple player.. I know many have accepted that it will cease to function in January of next year, but I haven't. This was something I needed to write and resubmit in this category.. not just as a player, but as someone who feels deeply about to this world I feel like talking about Anthem, from my own experience with it, from what it makes me feel. From the most sincere part of myself Knowing that its servers will shut down on January 12, 2026, has undoubtedly created a kind of pain in my soul, a pain that is hard to process, hard to accept…... Not because it will end... But because of what this magnificent video game could have been I know that EA and BioWare see anthem as a game that didn’t meet the expectations that were set........ But for some of us.... Anthem was not just a game, it was art in its purest form.....It is sad to know that such a living world, so well crafted, so vast, will be permanently shut down… after so many experiences… this is truly heartbreaking. It hurts to know that it will disappear... not just because of its world, but because of the small details that made me feel like I was really there… I’ll miss the sound of the southern lapwings and the parrots that flew over Fort Tarsis, the feeling of walking through the markets, the sunset, the daylight,, the landscapes that truly looked like they were pulled out of a dream...... I know not many saw, or understood, the art in anthem, But some of us did. And when that world shuts down, a part of our own stories will fade with it. ...It’s very sad to accept that it will vanish as if it never existed... And you know....... Anthem...... Anthem, to me, is not just a game... To me, it’s a reflection of something deeper: a promise that once seemed enormous, with a beautiful world full of potential, but that ended up being rejected and forgotten by a large part of the gaming community... And that's where I feel that in this abandonment, something speaks to me personally... because sometimes, in life, you also feel like that: with big dreams, with a desire to shine, but for different reasons, they don’t come true or are left in the background…... .. That’s why losing Anthem hurts more than losing just a game to me — to me… and to many, it’s like losing a symbol, a part of hope and beauty that walked alongside me, and for that reason, I don’t want it to disappear in silence, because I know that for many like me, Anthem is... art, is emotion, is a living world that deserves a proper, heartfelt ending, dear Electronic Arts and BioWare. “You’re not truly gone when you leave — only when you’re forgotten” Thank you for reading, I hope you’re all doing well and having a good day – Astor Mendez (If my letter contains grammatical errors, I apologize; it was originally written in Basque, my English is irregular)Add a language
Hi, I am writing here because I don't know where else to write. I would like to ask if you would consider returning to localizing games into Czech. As far as I remember, Battlefield 3 and 4 included Czech, and even before EA App there was Origin, which also included Czech. You know, the Czech gaming community may be small by your standards, but for us it is huge. Games with a single-player campaign may have a good story, but those who do not understand English very well are at a disadvantage and cannot fully enjoy the game. I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way. That is why I am writing to you, and I would appreciate a positive response. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely Aleš
Anthem taking forever to launch
Hey all! Just recently I have encountered an issue where Anthem takes around 5 minutes to open (after pressing play from EA) to then sit at a black screen in windowed mode for around another 5 minutes, finally I get onto the main menu (fullscreen) only to press [space] to play, where it stutters my pc and the game (audio bugs out, game freezes) for it to continue loading. Finally after all that it starts loading normally, only to bring me back to the main menu, saying I lost connection. If you need additional info lmk cause I have tried every fix under the sun and nothing is working.LotR Heroes
Hey all, I was just curious. It's been a bit over a year now since the game shut down but, I dont recall the reasoning for it? I know I-- as im sure many players were-- was quite sad when it was shutting down. Not mad. Sad. I love LotR. Period. The game was fun. Kinda hoping EA gives it another go down the line?UFC5 evolution points not being added for progressing
Hi, UFC5 evolution points bug. I purchased game (dvd copy) and worked properly for short time. After a day my evolution points stuck on 6100 points and whatever I do don’t add anymore to my total. Completing in game challenges, fight both- online and offline shows notifications for evolution points earned but none of these are added to my total that remains still 6100. Contacted psn - advised to contact EA support as on their end all is ok and it is in game issue. Contacted several times EA and no help at all. UFC5 game is showing in my EA account correctly and they can’t check in game anyway. Advised to post on forum and this is my only hope. Please help as playing UFC5 without progressing with evolution points is pretty much pointless. FYI - re-installation of game and cache of PS5 cleaning are not helping. Both PS5 and game with most recent updates.
Battlefront 2 progress reset
Logged into battle front yesterday and all my cards were locked and some of my classes were reset to level 1. My heavy was level 980. Now I’m back at level one. It shows some of my characters still at level 100 or 223 but I’m missing like 80k credits and I’ve tried re installing the game closing it and opening it multiple times over three days now and. Nothing. I do not have it in me to restart all over again that’s years of progress just gone.

Hello, to whom this may concern, Today, I am reaching out to the EA team to inquire about the possibility of downloading the Command Conquer games on a Mac. Today, 25 August 2025, this is possible. However, from what I can gather, I need to download mods and use third-party services to play this fan favorite childhood memory game. One day soon, thanks to the EA Developers and team, this game will become available on Mac, allowing me to play and bring back heartwarming memories that would make my day even more enlightening.
