just logged in to a deleted account

just bought battlefield 2042 and when i pressed play i got an error, after looking around on my EA account it looks like its been deleted, just because i haven't logged on my EA account for many years doesn't give you the right to just delete my account, i have opened multiple tickets and i just get ignored, no response, and the AI chat refuse to let me talk to a real person, after finding out my account has been deleted i have installed all my EA games and non of them want to start because i "apparently" don't have an account and can't link my account to steam cause it says its already linked to an account but it shows the same email I'm logged into, WTF is going on, this is illegal, if i don't get a response soon or get access to all the games i have spend money on I'm gonna sue you for fraud.

  • even my gamer tag has been deleted, what is this? "36acd4e8b2563dec" when i was a kid i called it Tolleboy or something like that but my account is just bricked and my games are gone

    Hey there,

    The accounts are not deleted unless you request an account deletion. However, sometimes they might get disabled due to inactivity. To re-enable the account, all you have to do is reset your password. If you're still unable to recover your account after resetting the password, please contact EA Help Support via chat: 

    How to chat with EA Help

    1. Log in to your EA Account.
    2. Select the topic that best describes your issue. If an advisor can help, a contact option will be available under your help topic.
    3. Select Chat with us or Start chat.
    4. Fill in the contact form with your:
      • first name
      • last name
      • e-mail
      • platform
      • subject (a short description of your issue)
      • attachments (e.g. screenshots, documents, links).
    5. Select Send.
    6. A chat window will open when you’re transferred to an advisor.

    After you contact us, we’ll create a case for you. You can view it and keep track of updates in My Cases. You’ll be notified of changes to your case via email.
