My friend was banned and now I cant play with him.

To clarify my friend got banned for "profanity" and had to wait out his weeks suspension. He waited it out. We hop on today and he is no longer on my friends list. He doesn't get my friend requests at all and when he sends on to me all I see is a blacked out name and only the option to decline. Please fix this is like to play with my friend again.
