Hello @EA_Cade
Thank you for trying to help.
here are the steps that I previously made including the steps that EA support agents gave me:
I'm having an ongoing issue with my Sims 4 game. I used to play it in Russian using Origin, but since switching to the EA app, I've encountered a problem. Even though I install the game in Russian (with options being Russian, Czech, and Polish), it appears in Czech, a language I don't understand, making it very difficult to play.
I've tried several troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling the game, clearing the cache, and reinstalling the EA app, but nothing has worked. I've noticed that multiple people, especially those using MacOS like I am, are experiencing the same issue. Despite trying various solutions suggested by others, I haven't had any success.
I contacted EA Games Help, and the support agent said he added a new Russian version to my EA Games app and asked me to reinstall the game. After doing this, the EA Games app said it could not locate the game and prompted me to repair it. However, when I turned the game on, nothing had changed—it was still in Czech.
I contacted EA support again, and the new support agent advised me to follow these steps:
- Shut down your Mac.
- Press and hold the power button on your Mac. As you continue to hold the power button, your Mac turns on and loads startup options. When you see Options, release the power button.
- Select your startup disk. It's named Macintosh HD, unless you changed its name.
- Press and hold the Shift key, then click the “Continue in Safe Mode” button below your startup disk.
- Log in to your Mac. You might be asked to log in again.
Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue either. The game is still in Czech.
Right now EA support chat no longer available for me. I'm sure no one knows how to solve this issue and it feels like EA games simply can't admit it.
