Required to Verify Age but Cannot???
I'm just trying to play the Sims, and I was able to yesterday, but something must have updated since then. I have a header at the top of my screen when I open the EA app saying EA needs to "check your age before you can buy or access age-restricted games and content." I get why Sims would be age restricted, so trust me, I'm fine with verifying my age and going through the proper channels, but the link provided for verifying my age just... doesn't work??? I've clicked on it incessantly. And when I hit the play button for the Sims 4, it opens a window that says "DisplayName field missing from registry." It wants me to sign into my EA account via this window, which freaks me out a bit because this looks like the least official pop-up I have ever seen. It's this nondescript white tab with a weird pattern for a background and a single box for my username shoved all the way to the bottom of the window. The window can't even be resized, and the box I'm supposed to put my password into is so far down it's off screen. And I can't scroll down to get to it. I am bewildered.
I am hoping this is just a bug with something new EA is rolling out to verify people's ages. Otherwise, something is very wrong, either with my personal version of the app I have on my computer, or the EA app in general. I just want to play the Sims 4, y'all. Please someone fix this???
