I'm not overly concerned about the situation because if they chose to purchase it, they probably understand how profitable the game is and its overall value. I'm fairly confident that they wouldn't just remove mods altogether, since mods are such a crucial part of the game's identity and appeal—without mods, the game wouldn't be the same, and many players might feel disappointed or even abandon it. From my perspective, topics related to identity preferences, such as LGBTQ content, aren't something I personally focus on too much outside of trying to set my own preferences globally within the game that would help me create a heterosexual community prior to launching the game, so that doesn't affect me directly. However, I do believe there are certain things outside of just mods that could be improved or adjusted, and I think some of those changes might be beneficial for the game overall. I just hope they approach any modifications thoughtfully to maintain the core experience that players enjoy while making necessary updates or improvements. I’m definitely not into a multiplayer mode for my Sims 4 game; it’s a personal thing. I do want to be able to run a real Dine Out restaurant/hotel on my lot though.
