Unable to unlink Xbox account
I'm experiencing issues with EA's account linking. I pay for Xbox's Game Pass Ultimate and was trying to link my EA account to play EA titles, but it indicates that my EA account was previously linked to an old Xbox account I used. I no longer use or have access to that account, and when I go onto my EA settings, it shows my account IS NOT LINKED to any Xbox account. So I'm assuming that old Xbox account is still in their records, even though I remember not being able to link it to that account as I did not have online access at the time, so EA should not have marked it as linked when it didn't go through. That was years ago, and I know the policy states only one account per lifetime, which I find absurd. I'm wondering if anyone knows a workaround or if EA will address this issue. I might just create a new EA account and use that if it would work, not sure if it will though. If anyone has had a similar experience or situation, any help would be appreciated.
Hey vilevampz,
nforutnately, as your error states, you can only have one Xbox account linked to your EA account in its lifetime. You could try reaching out to our live support team just in case they can do something for you, but otherwise you'll need to make a new EA account if you want to link an Xbox account to it.
