I want to unlink my Steam account from my EA Account. After clicking the unlink button, I entered the verification code sent to my email, checked the box stating "I understand and wish to proceed", and clicked unlink again. However, the page just returned to the connected accounts interface, and my Steam account is still shown as linked—I was unable to complete the unlinking process.

Just to check, do you have a ban on your account by any chance? You can check that in your penalty history. If you have a ban on your account, you won't be able to unlink your platform until that ban is removed.
