I'm sorry to say that there isn't a phone number for EA Help as they only offer support through live chat or email.
We're you able to speak to one of their agents through live chat eventually?
I also have this issue. Tried using live chat and the chat box wouldn't even appear, regardless of the browser I use or if I refresh the page.
I take it you've made sure that you don't have something suppressing pop-up windows on your browsers?

You'd use the support options on the EA Help website. Most of them allow people to open email cases or initiate live chats, although some will just point to a guide in a handful of instances.
It's advisable to be at your computer when using live chat, to ensure that you don't miss it beginning. They will close chats after a period of inactivity from the user, as they'll need to help others.
This is not true at all . They never open the chats or wait so long that there's no way to be still there waiting hours later
