A Way Out Invite to friend not working [NEED HELP]

Hey so me and my friend are trying to play and we have both brought the game, But we are not able to join each other. Does anyone know how to fix this

@bountyblunt Did your friend try them too? That very few people have issues inviting a friend means that this is a device or network issue so please ensure that you both try the steps.
