Can’t progress through Karakuri skill tree

I am all the way at amaterasu and I realized this, My Karakuri skill tree isn’t letting me unlock the IMPORTANT skills that are behind the monster logos. I have beaten all the monsters before Amater...

    Only happens if you get the QTE (quick time event) and you need to take the required karakuri

    for instance the repeater crowsbow is from The fume beak you need the glider and the stake equipped to your wheel while fighting the monster you will also need agro (monster has to be focusing you) then it has to do a certain move to make the ( im on ps5) L1 pop up

    sometimes it’s best to solo monster for them if you with a friend and he get one all he has to do is walk away let you get Aggro and you’ll get the prompt if you have the required karakuri

I see what you mean, so I may have just gotten unlucky. I will give that a try and update this later! Thanks bro

    Ive seen this reported before even by those taking proper tools and having plenty of threads the whole fight

    also happening to my wife whos bugged and stuck in ch3 on a different issue (between this, the 0/2 bug and slow downs i think shes about rdy to call it quits lol)

    we tried again today with the stake and glider in her inventory and beat up fumebeak a few times

    the QTE never popped for her.

    i even backed off and she solod it a few times and she still never got it, even with us changing it so she was the host. And she was killing slowly on purpose

    it feels like something else is wrong here

    (I on the other hand went back and got the QTE just fine, same tactics for her never works though, so its like wth)
