Can 2 people use keyboards in A Way Out

If I want to play A Way Out through online co-op, are we both able to use a keyboard and mouse or does one person need a controller?

I have 2 laptop and I have game on steam and Microsoft store both are same account and both linked to ea app can I play coop on my two laptop
