Can't use a Shred punch (red talent ) to break a chest shield

i am stuck to access some areas or chests  like in oremen celestial island, to access the oremen puzzle. I tried 3 times to use shred punch without effects . Any suggestion?

    @laoanair The spell required for those blue forcefields (wards) is "Ward Break" which is unlocked a bit later in the story 🙂

i checked, and with guard punch  (heal when breaking enemy's shield) plus shred punch (melee attacks breaks most of enemy's shields, doesn't work.

I have still one mission to end the game. so bad.

    @laoanair If you're close to finishing the game, you should have the ward break ability already. Can you tell me the name of the mission you're on in the in-game Journal, and briefly describe the last thing that happened in the story? You can use spoiler tags

      i am still at colossal mission, where i have to fight sandrakk !
      with level 63 i didn't managed him.
      I had to rerun the chapter again. '-(
      i am not close to the end as i thought !
