Does your friend need to buy Unravel 2 too?

Hi,

Does my friend need to buy the game too if he wants to play co-op with me? I need to know this soon before the special offer ends, so I can buy it as a gift for him.

I'd be glad about an answer

    Hi there, @OreganoHauch. Unravel Two only offers local multiplayer. Unfortunately, you can't play online with a friend.

    Thank you for the answer. I bought the game as a gift for a friend yesterday, so that we could play together. At that moment, I couldn't test the feasibility of playing co-op myself, because my monitor for my gaming PC is not shipped yet. I guess this means I need to put a request for returning the gift ? At the same time, I would keep my own version, and use the freeware Parsec ?
