You can only open these flowers with the help of baby ferret type creatures that you must befriend with a howl first ..then they will follow you and open the flower for you when you stand next to it..
Its part of the game mechanic...
Part of the level design....It is still possible to get stuck in certain areas due to the fact that sometimes the ferrets wont follow you and get stuck in areas and you cant get them back...
all in all the game is abit frustrating like that
