Game does not save, keeps resetting every time I open it.

So, I just played about 4 hours of the game. Saved multiple times. Restarted the game to resolve the annoying audio issues present, and I was greeted with the "Play with guide narration enabled" screen, all my settings reset, and no saved games or progress. It just completely reset itself.

I have done this 3 or 4 times now, and each time I exit the game and open it, the game reset itself as if it's the first time being played.

I can see in the Documents\KoeiTecmo\Wild Hearts folder, there are three "playedsaveddatax" folders and a "systemsavedata" folder, all of which are empty. 

Oddly enough, if play the game from the beginning.... again.... and save at certain points, then exit to the title screen, not the game, the saved progress is there and I continue where I left off. When I exit the game, and re-open it; it starts from scratch again.

Anyone having issues like this? So very frustrating, as I could put aside the countless other issues with the game, but not saving progress .... I mean that's where it ends for me.
